Pledge Program

GO THE "EXTRA MILE"
Help raise additional funds to fight breast cancer by collecting tax deductible pledge donations from family members, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to sponsor you in this year's Race.  There are two ways to participate:  ONLINE pledging with your own personal webpage on the RACE WEBSITE, and MANUALLY by using the PLEDGE FORM and mailing it in with your pledge donations or turning them in on Race day.  We have a new incentive program this year for our fundraisers!  Now you have the opportunity to pick your prize.  If you want to see all the great rewards you can earn, click here for the brochure!

Earn great prizes while helping to raise funds to fight breast cancer!
Level of recognition and rewards will be based on the participant's total of all pledge money (online, checks, cash) postmarked by October 31, 2010. 

Awards will be given to the top three fundraisers on Race day.*

NOTE:  If your employer has a "Matching Funds" program, please submit the necessary form.  Your donation will go twice as far. 

ONLINE PLEDGING
The Pledge Program is now easier than ever, ONLINE!  We encourage you to use our online pledging system.  If you register for the Race online, your own personal webpage is automatically created for you on the Race website which can be customized by uploading your own photo and writing your own message about why you participate in the Race.  You can send personal emails from your page on the website to friends, co-workers and family asking them to sponsor you by donating by credit card online!  You may still participate in online pledging without registering for the Race online.  For example, if you are part of a Large Group for which paper copies of the Race registration form are being bundled for processing, simply follow these instructions:  After clicking on the "Register" button, click on the "Online Fundraiser Only" option.  This option is no cost to you and allows you to track your fundraising online without actually having to register for the Race online.

MANUAL "OFFLINE" PLEDGING
You can also take part in the Pledge Program manually by using the PLEDGE FORM (also available on Race entry form).  Hang it up in your coffee bar at work, at church or wherever you want to solicit pledges!

*ALL money must be received by noon on Friday, October 8th at the Race registration office to be eligible for the top three prizes.
*Donations made online must be posted, donations mailed must be received, and donations delivered must be turned in by this time.
