Grants

Up to seventy-five percent of the net proceeds raised by Komen Central Oklahoma are dedicated to fighting breast cancer in Canadian, Cleveland, Grady, Kingfisher, Lincoln, Logan, McClain, Oklahoma, Payne and Pottawatomie Counties.  Each year, Komen Central Oklahoma awards grants to community organizations that provide breast health education and awareness programs to medically underserved women, from mammograms, to education, to counseling.  Since 1994, Komen Central Oklahoma has awarded over $5.5 million to the fight against breast cancer, with twenty-five percent funding national breast cancer research.
