If your organization conducts a Health Fair or Employee Benefits Fair, please include Komen Central Oklahoma in your Fair. 2009 Breast Cancer Facts and Statistics: · The most proven and significant risk factors for getting breast cancer are being female and getting older · An estimated 192,370 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to occur among women in the United States during 2009 & about 1,910 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to occur among men · In addition to invasive breast cancer, 62,280 new cases of in situ breast cancer are expected to occur among women during 2009.
