2009 Race Logo sponsors

Planning for the 2009 Race for the Cure is in full swing!  We have some exciting new changes coming this year to registration.  These changes were made based on feedback we received from participants and advice from other races all over the country.  The biggest change?  This year when you register online, you're packet will be shipped to you for FREE!!  You'll receive your packet well in advance of the race so you can wear the shirt and let all your friends know that you're participating in the race.  We have some new deadlines for registration this year to ensure that your packet arrives before the race.  Please keep a sharp eye out for the dates and deadlines!  We'll be sure to give you plenty of notice.  More info on these changes will follow, so stay tuned.  And remember, it's never too early to start fundraising!

TEAM INFO:

There will be a few changes for the teams this year!  First off, there will be NO team packet pick up.  When your team members sign up online, their packet will be automatically mailed to them.  Keep an eye out for our Team Captain training in early August!  You still MUST fill out a Team Intent Form if you want to form a team.

Susan G. Komen for the CureŽ Encourages Nation to "Go Passionately Pink" by Donning Pink, Donating Funds to End Breast Cancer Forever

As part of its vision to realize a world without breast cancer, Susan G. Komen for the CureŽ is encouraging people to show their true colors by participating in Passionately Pink for the CureŽ, a simple national fundraising program that inspires breast cancer advocacy and honors those affected by the disease.

Passionately Pink for the Cure is a grassroots program in which companies, organizations, social groups or individuals pick a day to wear pink, and each group member donates $5 or more to Komen for the Cure. Groups can select any day or days from May through October to "go Passionately Pink" and show their colors.

Registration for the 2009 program is now open at the newly redesigned www.passionatelypink.org.
